As what surely was an endless week comes to a close, I want to wish you all a happy and relaxing weekend.
I leave you with a picture of my nani, my grandmother from my mother’s side. This picture to me is timeless. It conveys the calm and and elegant beauty that she is. She is in my thoughts as always, but particularly right now when she is recovering from surgery.
I think this picture was taken when she was about 20 and she doesn’t look much older now. I miss her infectious laugh and awesome home cooked treats. She lives in India with my grandfather.
