Hello dears. Hows it going with you? The sun is shining I am having a fantastic day. Slowly but surely, progress is being made with the hard drive clean up.
I decided to tackle some pending chores and projects like laundry, guest bedroom clean up, regrout guest bathroom floor and other odds and ends.
Here are some snapshots from my day.
My huz and I are celebrating a special day today. I woke up to find a lovely surprise from him – a bunch of beautiful yellow roses and a sweet card.
Our guest bedroom with my DIY headboard. I added two new items, a dresser and a vintage radio a few days ago. I need to buy a curtain rod and will share more pics of the room after dressing the window.

grouting the guest bathroom floor..exhausting. stage 1 done. stage 2 in a couple of hours.
a lovely scented candle from helen julia that arrived in the mail today. smells divine!
and soon it will be time to pop the bubbly…

sharalee, the headboard fabric is from ikea. i am amazed i found a very similar bedskirt at pottery barn. i love to add details like towels tied with ribbons, fragrant soaps and other lil luxuries to make guests feel totally welcome.
