Rustic Easter Decor

If you are on the hunt for a fresh take on traditional Easter decor, then friends I have good news for you. After several days of searching inspiration I found these two Easter looks that filled with handmade details. Festive with an Earthy feel that would work just as well al fresco as in your dining room.

The first up is a collaboration in London between Gwyneth Paltrow (is there something she isnt into?) and the dynamic team at Remodelista.

A palette of white, pale pink, lilac, robin’s egg blue comes together effortlessly. An off-white linen runner, beeswax and tapered candles and fresh flowers such as hellibores, anemones, lilacs, and hydrangeas take center stage. The farmhouse table is absolutely gorgeous! I would add organic favors such as homemade olio santos/ herbed olive oils or breakfast muffins.

Instructions on how to DIY this Egg Tree can be found here. For a full source list to create this look yourself, click here.

The second look, found via Amy Atlas, is created by Marcie of Celebrating Moments.  A subtle palette becomes a beautiful backdrop for yummy treats such as chocolate bird pops, nest cupcakes, bird cookies, and bird cake by Whatever Whimsy.

These bird pops are ADORABLE. A great idea for baby showers too!!

What will you be doing this Easter?

PS: the basement project is moving along really well. I am SO proud of my husband right now. And I am having such a great time working on the design process for the remodel.

PPS: I also just got an estimate to reupholster the two chairs. Sticker shocked at $400+. That is not including fabric. Boo!

PPPS: The Mother’s Day Brunch look that I created for HGTV.com went live yesterday! I really like how it turned out. Would LOVE to know what do you think!
