mochatini turns three + happy friday

With the excitement of this week’s events and projects I nearly forgot that mochatini turns THREE today! Happy birthday to my little blog.

I want to sincerely thank EACH one of you for your support, and friendship in these three wonderful years. I am truly BLESSED to be a part of such a fabulous + inspiring community and to call SO many of you friends. THANK YOU.

I spent most of today get ready for an upcoming photo shoot, I haven’t had a second to celebrate. Which is about to change right now. A bottle of dry brut is chilling as I type this so I’m off.

Before I sign-off, I HAVE to ask. Did you watch the royal wedding? Im SO glad I woke up early to watch it live. It was truly a fairy-tale wedding. Didnt Kate look ABSOLUTELY gorgeous? AND so princess-like. I thought her gown, designed by Sarah Burton for McQueen, was STUNNING!! I’m not much of a tiara person but Kate’s vintage cartier was dazzling! I do wish she has opted for a more impressive bouquet.

What did you think?

Have a great weekend. xoxo

  • Happy blog birthday!! Kate looked stunning…I did watch the wedding. I agree though that I was a little disappointed by the bouquet ! The dress was perfection.

  • Happy Happy Anniversary!
Wish I was there to toast with you. Hoping that one year that will be true!

I too watched the wedding – from pre-footage to the kiss on the balcony.

I loved her dress and even if the bouquet was small I think it was in harmony with her understated nature and personality. It also mirrored the detail in the lace perfectly.
The only two things that made me tsk were the fact that William didn’t turn to see his beautiful bride glide up the aisle towards him. Regardless of Royal protocol, there are times when love and joy have to take priority!
The second was the ‘kiss’ on the balcony. It was way too short for my liking. I think our dear prince could have plonked a better smooch on his pretty princess’ lips! 🙂

Big hugs to you and happy weekend!!

    xx Charlotta

    • thanks charlotta.
a longer royal first kiss would have been r-rated for all the kids watching 😉
but i agree a little more passion would have been thrilling.
      how was your vacation?
      xx

  • Happy Happy Birthday Mochatini!!! WOW three years – that is a long time, when I did not even realize that a world of friends existed here. Wonderful wedding isn’t it. Living in Europe we get to witness a lot of these and I saw a couple of them live too :-). Good luck to your blog and look forward to many more interesting posts.

  • Congratulations on your third blog birthday!! Coming over to visit after speaking to Monika at Splendid Willow. She said I must visit!! We’re both in DC. Happy to have found your blog!

  • Happy belated blog birthday, my dear!!! Wow, 3 years already? Here’s to many, many more years of Mochatini! And as for the royal wedding, it was to die for – everything about it was just perfection! 🙂
