holiday gift guide: splendid willow

Monika from Splendid Willow shares her holiday wishlist/gift picks: Take it away darling —
Hi everyone! Thrilled being here today! Manvi is a super gal whose friendship I treasure so. She is the queen of great gifts (I know first hand!) so it is going to be hard to top her own, personal gift guide, but here goes.

1. Who does not love Peanuts! Celebrating Peanuts: 60 Years –  will bring laughter to young as well as old. It is also a good collector’s item.
2. Also, on my own wish list are a pair of nice earrings. Hubby gets to pick (assuming he is buying into the idea…). These open scalloped ones by Jamie Wolf are understated elegant and attractive – hint, hint!
3. A handsome and practical tea kettle. This Uplift Kettle is a best seller at the MOMA shop in NY. Stainless steel and natural cork handles. (Good whistle too!).
4. My good friend Sarah mentioned this stunning, high quality Swiss Army Blanket on my blog, and I almost started hyper ventilating! It is now high on my own wish list!
5. A hand picked unique art piece is always welcome in my home. Not everything needs to be pricey. E-bay and Etsy are great resources. This Hedgehog (with an attitude!) is by Grande Fernandi Boher for Natural Curiosities.
6. I think a Culinary lesson for two is a wonderful gift for a friend or spouse. Social and a great way to perfect that Creme Brulee!
7. I am a lipgloss nerd. I have so many brands it is ridiculous! I always tend stay in the natural color range. Right now I am liking Chanel’s LÈVRES-SCINTILLANTES (Glossimer, limited edition). Especially no. 84 Imaginaire. A tad more color  – perfect for evening wear! – and the texture is close to perfect. A couple of my girlfriends will be getting them for Christmas
