Fashion’s Night Out

Fashion’s Night Out. Hello dears. How was your weekend? We had a great time at Fashion Week NY 2010. I have been invited to couple of upcoming designer shows and parties for years and am happy to connect with them each time. More on them soon.

I wanted to share a few highlights to Fashion’s Night Out, a global shopping extravaganza. I am so happy to have been a part of this event since it began last year. Now in its second year, Fashion’s Night Out, {fashion’s biggest party night} is an event should not miss!

Last year I spent most of my night uptown at Bergdorf, Saks Fifth Ave, and Barneys.

This year we made a quick stop at Saks fifth ave {caught a glimpse of Zac Posen, Peter Som and then Linsdey Lohan’s ex-girlfriend (?) } and then speed downtown to spend the rest of the night in the meatpacking district.

I was at DVF earlier in the day trying on dresses  and wishing my wallet would allow me this, this, this and this. {AND this one to my b-day party}.  My sister and the staff at DVF recommended I not miss the party they had planned for FNO. So we decided to make that our first stop. Picture champagne, music, HP screens and fabulous looking people with lots of attitude. It was a party! We stayed a while but left before Diane and her daughter made an appearance.

Next we hit-up Hugo Boss. And Theory, Gilt Groupe, Elizabeth and James, Vince, McQueen, and La Perla stores after. Meatpacking was the place to party and talk fashion in NYC.

Meat packing was the place to party and talk fashion in NYC.  My recommendation to organizers of FNO – make FNO a semi-annual even- some of us cant wait a whole year!

Fashionistas and fashion-forward girlfriends mark your calendars for next year.  In other news, say hello to Anthology!! And Congrats to Anh-Minh Le, Editor in Chief, Meg Mateo Ilasco, Creative Director and Joy to bringing print back! And love that our sites are hosted on the same theme. Go thesis.
