facelift; guest bath

As promised, here are the pictures of our guest bathroom with a little bit of a facelift.

I wanted the overall look of this tiny guest bath to be simple with touches of glam and drama. Except for the paint and the shower curtain fabric, I decorated using pieces we already owned, but am considering replacing the shelving unit with either a round side table or a shorter rack. The shower curtain is actually window treatment panels sold at ikea and a steal at $14 {two panels}. I used four panels. The paint color is Mysteria by Behr Premium Plus in semi-gloss. I want to add decorative wood paneling to the walls and change the lights above the sink at some point. The mirror is antique silver from India, and a gift from my mom. In total, we spent less than $100 and that is the part I am most pleased about.

  • What a transformation! And that for a mere $100!!! Splendid! I LOVE the wall color and the chandelier and the mirror. I agree w. you that a different display unit would be nice – but it is far from urgent. Your guests will be thrilled!

  • Hey Manu,

Awesome facelift of the bathroom and for not much more money! Really love the wall color and the lighting from the chandelier adds a beautiful soft lighting to the space.

    Keep up the great work!

  • Manvi – the new bathroom decor is lovely. Such a difference!

I agree with you on the shelving unit – I think it needs to be lower in order not to conflict with the divine chandelier.

The colour of the walls is delicious – I want that colour too!

    Thanks for sharing.

I love that color for a bathroom, so soothing, you did just wonderfully. Love the mirror too…. couldnt get a good look at the curtain but it looks equally stunning. • congratulations manvi! it looks absolutely gorgeous. i love that you’ve chosen a dark colour even if the room is small, it’s daring but you pulled it off brilliantly.
