Easter weekend in Denver

We are heading out to Denver this evening. Short weekend break to spend Easter with Paul’s family. Denver is a cool city. And Colorado is simply gorgeous!

I woke up earlier than usual.

I think I could get used to waking up early just to enjoy the early morning sun at home.

No, seriously. I  think I would really enjoy it.

Done with the last of my packing. Clear ziplocks filled with as many under-3-oz- travel sized bottles and tubes as it can hold. If there is one thing TSA regulations and annoying checked bag fees have taught me is how to pack LIGHT. Especially for shorter trips. Huge bags with half of my closet and heavy lotion and shampoo bottles, 6 pairs of shoes, any anything else I might need… not anymore! Say hello to the new-and-improved-packer -me! Now – its just 2 pairs of footwear. AND I’m even sharing the carry-on luggage bag with Paul!  Impressive, right?

I decided to come in to work early so I can leave early. National airport is a short and convenient metro ride from my work. Actually our work – our offices happen to be in the same building  :-). Lets hope the security lines aren’t too bad. Stay tuned for some Rocky mountain high-lights.

I just noticed that Les Indiennes have new items in their online store.  Hope they have a sale soon.
