Add splashes of color to your bookshelf. I’m into organizing books by color. So when I saw this I thought of my next DIY project.

My book collection is still spread over three countries, so getting them to look this colorful was difficult. Determined to get the look, I got some recycled and handmade paper from the ABC Home in New York. I also found some left over fabric (tip: mom’s old saris) at home from previous DIY projects and Voila! I love the results. Now not only are they color coded, but also the texture is so appealing.

Kate's Paperie Pastel

Kate’s Paperie is also a good source for handmade and decorative paper. Go pastel, go bright, go play with color.
