Happy to know how much you are enjoying the easter + spring tabletop ideas. So here is another creative tabletop that includes DIY- glitter eggs.
Created by Eddie Ross for DIFFA, this blue and white easter tabletop was inspired by a 1970’s pic of Elizabeth Taylor.
Eddie started by selecting a room with a fabulous chandelier..
Then selected a lovely damask patterned tablecloth.
He used about 14 doz real eggs to keep the look authentic. Drilled holes in the eggs with a dremel to drain them, then sprayed on an adhesive, and then using skewers rolled them into glitter. The branches are cherry spray painted white and with silk blossoms hot glued on to add life.
added white tulips and assorted plates and glasses to complete the look….
and voila! here is the final look. isnt it pretty? I love handmade holidays…
sources:
tablecloth – calico corners
dinner plates – royal copenhagen
