Here’s a look at Marika Sakellariou’s Eichler home in California. Marika bought this home in 2006 and enlisted architects Marek Slosar and Lucian Rosciszewski. She wanted to modernize the 1960s era Eichler home and maximize the indoor/outdoor feel of the structure.
Eichler homes are from a branch of Modernist architecture that has come to be known as “California Modern,” and typically feature glass walls, post-and-beam construction and open floorplans in a style indebted to Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. – wikipedia
I love the open feel to the entire home. Who needs a vacation when you have a retreat like this for a home?

This is a beautiful Eichler home which i’ve seen in the past. If you like additional Eichler eye-candy, check out this Claude Oakland designed Eichler (also in Marin County) that was a featured property on the San Francisco Bay Area AIA Tour: http://www.26oakmountainct.com/
