The April international issue of Elle Decor takes us to several chic cities around the globe including artist Nabil Nahas‘ apartment in Beirut.
Nabil’s home is filled with eclectic treasures from the Middle East, grand 19th-century colonial style with the best French pieces of the 1930s and 40s, Indian inlays and an impressive art collection.
This striped wallpaper with the starfish artwork is my favorite bit in Nabil’s home.
I love peeking into artists’ homes especially when they are decorated with unique global finds. Cant wait to read more about his apartment when this issue hits the newstands on March 15.
Lebanon has long been on the mile-long list of places to visit someday. One of these days I might just book a trip there to visit my friends in Beirut.
ps: I am guest blogging over at dear Charlottas blog Space for Inspiration. Check it out and see what I love most about Spring here in DC.
pps: For those of you living in DC area and love flea markets, check out this little video of my trip to the DC Big Flea Market last weekend. I hope many of you will join me for the next one.

Gorgeous…I lived overseas most of my child hood up until 15 and this has that modern international feel that I so love and cherish, as it reminds me of homes I’ve been to around the world!!!
The star fish piece is fabulous!
I seriously can’t wait for this issue, should be a nice change for Elle 🙂
I love the striped walls and ceilings above. Such a beautiful interior!
