As much as I love Summer, I love Fall even more. The weather is much nicer, there are fewer mosquitoes here in DC and I love the bright colors of leaves.
Over at Bright Bazaar I spotted 6 beautiful Fall party themes created by the immensely talented creative team of stylists over at BHLDN. These tablescapes got me instantly excited for Fall entertaining. Each features several quirky, whimsical and pretty party supplies which you can mix and match to create a totally unique look for your party.
While they are all lovely, dreamy and sure to put any guest in good spirits, I was especially drawn to these three themes.
PAPER MOON = SWOON!!
A real party starter, this look brings out the romantic bookworm in me. Easy to create too. Buy vintage/old hard cover books from thrift stores, I get them as low as 10 cents, and tear pages to create one of a kind placemats, menu cards and more. Add glitter + sparkles and voila!

THE NATURALIST
Arent these favors adorable? I do something very similar with my business cards: insert into clear velum sleeves and ink stamp them with pretty designs. Once, for a client I used these sleeves to insert recipe cards as favors.

SLATE GARDEN
Dont forget to create a sip station. Guests feel instantly at home when they can help themselves to beverages. How fun are these chalkboard planters? I would love to use these at a sip station to jot down the name of cocktail and fill with herbs (such as mint) that are part of the recipe.
How would you use these?

Tell me how are you getting ready for the new season? Or are you sad Summer is almost over?
ps: dont miss the beautiful collage that Will created with all six looks.

Thank you so much for linking up to my BHLDN post, Manvi! I love that we share the same favourite tabletops. The styling in all of them blew me away, though!
I’m sad that summer is almost over as it’s my favourite season, but I love fall fashion the most and there is something so charming about a long autumn, if we’re lucky. So much beautiful inspiration in this post! And using recipe cards as favors is such a great idea. 🙂

Loved these tablescapes! So unique and creative. BHLDN has some of the best stylists around. Great post! 🙂
Such a good idea to put your business cards in little velum envelopes. Hope you do not mind if I copy that idea.
